Developer wants to build two hotels on east side (Hotels in south carolina)

An Odenton construction company is planning to build a pair of hotels on Baltimore's east side, tentatively slated to replace the former Hillen Tire and Furncraft Furniture Co. stores on Front Street.
Some advance planning now could save local hoteliers throughout Central Florida from having to say "We're sorry" to thousands of guests on March 11.
The La Vista City Council approved a deal Tuesday night that ensures the city's only long-term investment in two hotels and a conference center in Southport West will be a $3 million grant to the developer, John Q. Hammons.

Duke football player Raphael Chestnut has been charged in the traffic death of another driver after a weekend accident in North Carolina. Chestnut was driving at 65 mph on U.S. 158 in Stokesdale when his vehicle collided with a car driven by Hubert Douglas Smith who died at the scene, the state Highway Patrol said.
